The mountains of southern Wyoming are a photographer's paradise, filled with spectacular scenery and wildlife viewing opportunities.  To keep track of Wyoming's 398 bird species and 117 species of mammals, “A Bird Checklist” and “A Mammal Checklist” can be obtained from the Wyoming Game & Fish Department at 307-745-4046.

The Snowy Range and Sierra Madre Mountain Recreation Guide proudly features photographer Greg Bergquist.  Greg is a 30-year resident of Carbon county and has been taking photographs of the local wildlife for the past 15 years.  He specializes in the bird species that live here yearround and those that visit the valley for the summer months.  He also has a large portfolio of mammals, flowers and scenics from around the county.
